Aloha, Dianne, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you
rolled by with your question.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite places to stay in Walt Disney World! I don't know if it's the fireworks views, or the glowing tiki torches, or the fact that I can
get DOLE Whip right there at the resort - but the Polynesian always keeps me coming back for more. In my experience, there's no bad room at this beautiful "island" retreat. But a stay in a Polynesian Bungalow? Well, that's on a whole other level! Allow me a moment to get over my jealousy (
ahem), and then we'll get right to your question!
Dianne, I love that you're visiting Disney World with a group of your nearest and dearest. The Most Magical Place on Earth is the perfect place to bond, laugh, and make tons of lasting core memories -
especially when you share a resort room. It turns your whole vacation into one big, long, magical sleepover!
I see you're concerned about sleeping arrangements for your party of 7, so I checked in with a Disney Cast Member, who confirmed that rollaway beds are generally not available at this location (or at any
Disney Resorts Collection hotel). I know this wasn't what you were hoping to hear, but I do have one bit of information that could possibly be of help.
While Disney resorts do not provide rollaway beds to guests, they
do provide
complimentary cribs and Pack 'n Plays for our tiniest Mouseketeers (subject to availability). So if you happen to be traveling with a small child, this could be the answer you're looking for! To request a crib or Pack 'n Play in advance, simply call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to speak with a Disney Cast Member. You can also call from your room upon arrival - my family has had lots of luck with same-day Pack 'n Play requests!
Dianne, I truly hope you enjoy every moment of this magical Disney vacation. It's bound to be one for the ages! If you have any other planning questions, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Allison
