I have a confirmation number, but no tickets….is that all I need for entry?

    Hi Richard! Welcome to planDisney.

Get ready for your magical arrival at Walt Disney World Resort! Let's make sure we can get you through those gates. At this time, to enter the four theme parks, you need both a valid Theme Park Ticket and Disney Park Pass Reservation.

You need to link your confirmation number to your My Disney Experience account in order to make your Theme Park Reservation. I find this easiest to do through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Open the app, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "Tickets and Passes." Click on the "+" sign in the top right-hand corner and tap "Link Tickets & Passes." Next, you can manually enter your confirmation number or scan your ID Code. Now, your Theme Park Ticket is linked to your account and you can make your Disney Park Pass Reservation.

To make your Theme Park Reservation, click on the "+" sign at the bottom center of the app. Tap on "Make or Modify Park Reservations," and again "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations." The next screen will prompt you to log into your My Disney Experience Account. Follow the directions to select a park day and theme park to reserve. You now have three different modes of entry to the theme parks.

Option one is to create a Disney MagicMobile Digital Pass by selecting "Disney MagicMobile" in the app. Click on the "+" sign in the top right-hand corner, select the guest name, and follow the prompts to complete your digital pass. Save your newly created pass to your Apple Wallet, Apple Watch, or Digital Wallet. If using an Apple device, set your pass to "Express Mode" which will eliminate the need to unlock your device at the gate.

Secondly, you can use any active MagicBand or ticket card from previous trips to Walt Disney World Resort. You can check the status of these under "MagicBand and More" in the mobile app.

Lastly, you can go old school and visit any ticket booth located outside of all parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs for a complimentary ticket card. Please have proof of purchase, the original form of payment, and photo identification.

In summary, link your Theme Park Ticket with your confirmation number, make a Disney Park Pass Reservation, and you have three options (Disney MagicMobile Service, MagicBand, or ticket card) to enter the theme parks. If you further assistance, give the Existing Tickets Help Center a call to speak to a friendly Cast Member.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
