Hi Tamra! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Oh boy! You are only a few more sleeps away from your Walt Disney World vacation! I'm sure you and your traveling party cannot contain your excitement. I know my family has a tough time focusing on anything else besides envisioning everything we are planning on doing during our stay. I hope you have secured your park reservations for the theme parks you plan to visit on select days. You should have also booked your
Advanced Dining Reservations at this time if you plan to eat at any table service restaurants.
For your resort accommodations, depending on how you booked your stay, you should have received a confirmation code via email. You'll need to link this code to your
My Disney Experience account to be able to use your
MagicBands or mobile device for entry to your resort room. If you booked directly through the Walt Disney World website, the confirmation code should be in your email confirmation for the booking. If you made your reservation through a third party company, you may need to contact them to get the confirmation code if it was not included with your information. You may have also planned your stay with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. In this case, simply contact them for assistance and they will be able to point you in the right direction. You can always call the
Disney Resorts Hotel Reservations line and speak to a Cast Member for direct assistance. They will be able to provide this code to use with your account.
Once you have obtained your confirmation code, you'll need to log on to your My Disney Experience account to link your resort to your account. Once logged in, select "Resort Hotel" followed by "Link a Reservation". Here you will enter the code and your last name to successfully complete the process. Now that your hotel is linked, you will be able to check in to your resort using the
My Disney Experience App on your mobile device. On your arrival day, you will receive updates through the app to let you know when your room is ready. Once it is ready, it will display your room number and you can head straight there without having to stop at the front desk.
Tamra, I'm excited that you have decided to stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel! Each one is amazingly themed and has countless amenities for the entire family to enjoy. I hope you have a magical time during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
See ya real soon!
Greg
