Hi Richard,
Welcome to planDisney!
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow Guests from the UK, and I'm very happy to see that you have made a holiday reservation to Walt Disney World Resort. The reason you are unable to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account is that you may not have the correct confirmation number yet. If you have made your reservation directly with the Walt Disney Travel Company International, you will already have your confirmation number (booking reference) and you can use that number to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account today, and it should show up immediately. If you have made your reservation with another UK Tour Operator, they will give you the Disney confirmation number - you might have to request it from them. I know they are very busy with all the cancellations, re-booking and new guidelines that have come into effect recently and it's a good idea to check their website every day for their latest updates. I completely understand how frustrating this is.
You will need to visit a Will Call window (
Guest Relations) to collect your tickets. These are located at all the theme parks and
Disney Springs. If you can visit the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs the day prior to your first visit to a theme park, this will save you queueing at a Guest Relations window before entering the park. Please remember to bring your confirmation number, a government issued photo ID and the credit card used to purchase your tickets.
If you are having difficulties with linking your reservation, please call UK freephone number 0800 169 0749 to speak with a Disney Cast Member who will assist you.
Once you have linked your park admission tickets you will need to reserve a
Disney Park Pass, which is required for every day you wish to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. Disney Park Passes have limited availability, so I would encourage you to make your selections at your earliest opportunity. You may reserve one park per day, and park hopping is not currently available, but you are permitted to leave and return to the same park during one day.
You can see availability here.
At this time we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please keep your eye on any new posts from the
Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.
Please come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your holiday.
Sue
