I just want to confirm that my toddler son doesn't need a passport, just a state issued birth certificate for ID. We'll be leaving from Canaveral and traveling to St. Thomas and St. Maarten.

    Ahoy, James!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You're really going to enjoy the Eastern Caribbean itinerary - the ports are gorgeous!

You're correct - at this time, all you need for your toddler is a state issued birth certificate for your Disney Cruise Line vacation. That being said, U.S. Government passport regulations are subject to change. I encourage you to visit www.travel.state.gov for the most up-to-date requirements before you set sail.

Please come back and visit if you have any more questions as you plan your cruise. You're in for a magical getaway with Captain Mickey! - Diane W.
