    Hi there! I just want to confirm what I have read going through the archives. If we are non-DVC members staying in a 1br villa at AKL-Jambo house, we will recieve daily housekeeping, is that correct? Also do we need to bring laundry detergent? Thank you

    Hi Tina,

     

    You are correct.  When you are staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas on cash and not points, you will have daily housekeeping.   You will be given a small box of Tide detergent to use in the stackable washer and dryer and will have it replenished daily if you use it all the previous day.  If you do not like Tide or anticipate doing more laundry (I usually get two loads out of the one box), I would bring some to supplement.  There is not fabric softener or sheets available so I usually bring some along. 

     

    You will love staying in a one bedroom villa at Jambo House.  I love the theming in the villas and the Resort.  Make sure you take the time to see the animals grazing throughout the grounds, and if you are lucky, from your balcony!  My children woke up early every morning just to see the zebras and giraffes outside.  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further, Tina.  Have a magical vacation.
