Can you confirm the internet package for Disney Cruise Lines? We were told yesterday that it is $35 per day for streaming and this includes 4 devices. Is this correct?

Ahoy, Chris. It looks like you’ve already put your Super Sleuth skills into play ahead of your upcoming Disney Cruise, so I’m glad you hopped by planDisney with your question to confirm the clues.

Every Disney Cruise Line Guest actually has the option to purchase one of two internet packages onboard. The Internet Package option costs $22 per day and includes access to the internet, social media, texting, Zoom, and WiFi calling. The Internet + Streaming option costs $35 per day and includes everything I just described in the Internet Package, plus access to long-form video streaming sites and apps like YouTube, Disney+, ESPN+, Netflix, and more. You can also stream music with this package. Be mindful that these prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

You are correct that each WiFi package supports up to 4 devices at a time. If you wish to connect a fifth device, you would first have to sign out of another connected device. So if you have four people in your stateroom and you are all connected to WiFi on your phones and someone wants to connect their computer, they would first have to logout on their phone. If you prefer to have more than four devices connected simultaneously, a second WiFi package would need to be purchased.

To purchase an internet package, just open your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard and navigate to the “Connect to the Internet” option, which will open up a separate browser window that will give you the option to view and purchase the different internet options I just described.

If you ultimately decide not to purchase one of the above internet options, no worries, you can still use the DCL Navigator app on the free Disney Guest WiFi. On it, you can check showtimes, make reservations, and even chat with fellow Guests onboard. And while you’re on the app, make sure to purchase a placeholder for a future Disney Cruise before you disembark. With it, you can save 10% off prevailing rates of certain sailings when you book a cruise within 24 months.

I hope this was the answer you were searching for. If you have anything else you care to investigate before your trip, don’t hesitate to sail back to us here at planDisney.

    Embrace the magic,
