Hello Andrea, and thanks for bringing such a great question to planDisney!
As the current
UK Panelist, I can totally relate to your valid concerns about ensuring that you have the correct timings in place to enable you to make those all-important Advanced Dining Reservations and
Enchanting Extras bookings for your upcoming October holiday at Walt Disney World Resort.
Andrea, I'm more than happy to share
that Guests can begin securing Advanced Dining Reservations at select Disney Restaurants online via their My Disney Experience account at 60-days ahead of time. And, for those lucky Guests who are staying within a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, they may also begin making Advanced Dining reservations at 60-days prior to check-in, PLUS for an additional 10 days into their stay.
It's easy to calculate your exact 60th day for Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Walt Disney World Resort by simply looking ahead on the online calendar - the days currently available to book are highlighted in blue. Additionally, I can confirm that
Guests may begin making online Advanced Dining Reservations at select Disney restaurants and for select experiences at 5.45 am EST (USA) time, which with our current 5 hour time difference, translates for us here in the United Kingdom to 10.45 am BST.
My top planDisney tip would be for you to ensure that any Guests attempting to make reservations are already successfully signed into their
My Disney Experience accounts (on a desktop computer) on the morning the booking system goes live. Another suggestion, although I expect you've done this already, is to have your whole family of 9 connected all together within
Family and Friends - My Disney Experience.
And lastly, in the words of Master Yoda - "
Do, or do not. There is no try."
