Welcome to planDisney, Anthony!
You're just a little over a month away from saying
bonjour to Disneyland Paris! Can you believe it? Before you know it, you'll be walking down
Main Street, U.S.A. with Sleeping Beauty Castle shining in the distance. After you pose for a few photos in front of the castle, don't forget to check out the
dragon in the dungeons underneath! Of course, before you can immerse yourself in the magic of Disneyland Park you'll need to secure theme park tickets, so let's get to it!
I love that Disney Parks around the world honor the sacrifices of service men and women by offering exclusive discounts and perks such as Disneyland Paris's current offer - a
reduced rate 2 Day / 2 Park Theme Park Ticket. While this ticket is available for purchase online, you will need to present a government-issued military card to redeem this ticket on the day of your visit. Because I wasn't sure what qualified as a 'government-issued military card', I reached out to a Cast Member for guidance. She helpfully shared that the offer is exclusively available for active duty or retired military members, and as such, a government-issued military identification card is the only accepted proof of service at this time. Unfortunately, Anthony, it seems that your DD214 will not be accepted as proof of service for your military personnel tickets.
I'm sure this is not what you were hoping to hear, but I'm so glad you verified before your arrival! If you are unable to provide the accepted military identification to secure the discount, I was informed that
Disneyland Paris Hotel+Ticket Packages feature significantly reduced ticket prices, so I encourage you to check the rates online. With so many fun
Disney Hotels to choose from, there just might be one practically perfect for your taste and your budget!
While likely disappointing, I hope the information I shared was helpful. If you're in need of further assistance as you prepare for your upcoming visit, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
