We want to confirm what it will "cost" us (we're on the disney dining plan) to go to a character meal. Our understanding is that it will cost ONE table service per character meal-that is for 3 of us to go, a total of 3 table services will be used

    Hi Leah!

You've got it right!  Well, kinda sort of.....  If the character meal requires only one table service credit, then yes, for the three of you, three credits in total would be deducted from your plan.  However, some meals, like Cinderella's Royal Table, require two table service credits.  Sooo, that would set you back 6 credits.  Make sense?

Essentially, you just multiply the number of credits required by the number of guests in your party.  If you click here, you can check out the 2011 Disney Dining Plan brochure.  Trust me, the dining plan is a great deal and it truly does save your family money - Enjoy every yummy minute!
