Hello, Alison! Welcome aboard planDisney. Thanks for sailing our way with your question.
I'm happy to share that Disney Cruise Line will be celebrating Chanukah onboard from December 6, 2023, to December 15, 2023. If you'll be sailing during the Festival of Lights, you can expect to find that on each night of Chanukah, a service will take place where a candle is lit on the menorah.
Just in case you want to bring a menorah onboard, please note that for safety purposes, only battery-operated lights are allowed on the ship. Once you are onboard the ship, you can check the Daily Activity Schedule within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see when and where the candle lighting will take place. Please stop by the Guest Services Desk while on the ship if you have any further questions about the activities happening onboard. I know that in years past, there have been latkes served on the ship as part of the celebration. I'm not sure what is in store this year, and I don't want you to miss out on anything!
Alison, if you'll be sailing soon, Disney Cruise Line offers a helpful
packing checklist to reference as you prepare for your vacation. Please remember to keep your important travel documentation with you in your carry-on luggage. You will need to present your identification at the port as you prepare to board the ship.
If you have additional questions, my panelist pals and I are here for you. Please return to planDisney anytime. Have a wonderful time sailing with Mickey and the gang!
Chanukah sameach!
