Hey there Danielle, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
What a great idea to add a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort to your husband's work trip. I know lots of people who plan their business trips just so they can squeeze in a little extra Disney fun. Let's help you make the most of your magical detour!
The
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a tasty way to kick things off. I never miss it, so I've definitely got some favorite dishes I look forward to year after year (Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup for the win!). You'll have a blast tasting your way around the world sampling the cuisines of so many cultures.
Now the hard part: choosing between the spooktacular
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the glittering
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Both have special treats, exclusive parades and a fun, festive atmosphere. If you took a poll of my fellow panelists, we'd probably split right down the middle. For me, though, Christmas takes the (fruit) cake, so I'd probably choose the Christmas party. Plus, if you've never experienced a Disney Christmas, you're in for a real treat. The Magic Kingdom positively glows during the holidays, from twinkling Mickey-shaped wreaths to the shimmery ice lights on Cinderella Castle. It makes for a truly unforgettable holiday.
I hope this helps you plan your magical visit to Walt Disney World, Danielle. Please stop by and see us again real soon!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
