I am going to a conference in Orlando at the end of Octorber. I want to bring my 17 year old daughter and her girlfriend. I need to know where the best place for teenage girls would be - hotel and theme park

I enlisted the help of my oldest daughter (who will turn seventeen in a couple of weeks) to answer your question, Sally.  According to her, the best park for teenagers is Hollywood Studios, based on the thrill rides and restaurants to be found there.  One of her personal favorites is the Tower of Terror.  If your daughter and her friends like thrills, they'll probably appreciate that one too!

It was tougher to get her to narrow down a resort; she hopes to be able to stay in each one of them someday.  Her top recommendation would be Disney's Polynesian for the tropical theme and monorail convenience.  She considers Beach Club to be the next best thing, for it's proximity to Epcot and the BoardWalk area.

    Have a great trip!
