I have a conference in July at Disney. My daughter will be joining me. She is pregnant and is wanting to do maternity pictures in some of the parks. Is there anything special that can be done for her? She will be a first time mom and loves Disney.

    Hey, Tausha! Welcome to planDisney.

Thanks for stopping by and choosing to be our Guest. How exciting that you have an upcoming conference at Walt Disney World Resort. There's no better location! I love how you're bringing along your daughter. Congratulations to her on being a first-time mom. I'm sure you'll have a lovely time together.

As I read your question, I immediately thought of a Capture Your Moment photo session. These personalized 20-minute sessions are part of the Enchanting Extras Collection and can be booked at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I have a friend who booked this experience and had her maternity photos done and they turned out supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Does your daughter have a favorite theme park at Walt Disney World Resort? Or does she have a favorite location within a particular theme park? I think this might be a "practically perfect" way for her to capture that magical moment. How special to be able to show those pictures to her child as they grow up.

Another idea is to also purchase the Memory Maker. By purchasing Memory Maker, she'll be able to have unlimited downloads of her Disney PhotoPass photos and videos. Not only that, but she can even share her captured moments with up to 25 members on her Family & Friends list. Throughout the theme parks, Disney PhotoPass photographers will be waiting and ready to capture her most precious moments. All she has to do is let them scan her ticket (either her physical card or on her digital device) or her MagicBand/MagicBand+. They'll then take a few pictures of your daughter, which will be magically uploaded to her My Disney Experience account. Also, any ride photos that she scans are also uploaded to her account. She can purchase Memory Maker - Advance Purchase at least three days in advance of activation and save some money. She can also purchase Memory Maker One Day for shorter trips.

I hope that's helpful, Tausha. Have a wonderful conference and a fantastic trip.
