Ahoy there, Laura!
Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you’ve got a pixie-dusted power combo planned—sailing Concierge and then heading straight to the magic of Walt Disney World? That’s what I call going from sea to Cinderella’s Castle without missing a beat!
Because you’re sailing Concierge, you’ll enjoy priority disembarkation, which means you’ll be among the first to say “see ya real soon” to the ship. However, when it comes to
Disney transportation to Walt Disney World, all Guests using that service—Concierge or not—are directed to their motorcoaches after clearing customs, and the buses typically depart no later than 9:00 AM.
The best way to make sure you’re ready for a smooth transition is to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app the night before debarkation. It will give you all the important details, including the timeline to disembark and where to go once you’ve claimed your luggage. If you're up early and ready to go, your Concierge status can help you zip through the process like Dash from The Incredibles—but whether or not you get on the road right away often depends on how quickly the bus fills up.
The good news? These buses are well-organized and efficient, so even if you have to wait a short time, you’ll still be
on your way to your resort—and maybe even munching on a Mickey pretzel—before brunch is served at Crystal Palace.
One thing I like to do is pack a lightweight day bag with any park essentials, just in case our resort room isn’t ready right away. That way, we can drop our luggage with Bell Services and make a beeline to our favorite attraction faster than Lightning McQueen at race time.
I hope this helps set your compass toward a seamless transfer from ship to park! You’re in for a double dose of Disney magic, and I have no doubt your adventure will be filled with happily-ever-afters both at sea and on land.
Sea ya real soon with a splash of April fun and a boatload of Disney magic,
Dustin
