Concerning RotR boarding groups(BG) reservation process. A family of 3 adults+2 kids are in HS at opening. Only one adult has a Disney login to MDE and is managing the groups Planning. Does this adult have the ability to reserve a BG for all in the group?

Bright Suns, Ron! It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I had the chance to visit Black Spire Outpost again a few weeks ago to check out Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on the week it opened and I'm so excited that you and your family are going to get to take on the First Order for yourselves this week. The attraction is very, very popular at the moment and probably will be for the foreseeable future, so Disney has made it easy to get in a virtual queue so you can keep your spot in line while you spend your day doing other things! The boarding group process is very simple, so let's chat about what you can expect when you arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

To answer your main question right off the bat: yes, one adult does have the ability to arrange the boarding groups for your entire party. If you are the only one in your group with a My Disney Experience account, you have been managing everyone's tickets and FastPass+ selections through your app and your account and the boarding group system works much in the same way. Once everyone has scanned their tickets or MagicBands to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can fire up the My Disney Experience app and follow the prompts on the home screen to join the virtual queue. You will be able to select the members of your party that will be coming with you, similar to how you made FastPass+ selections and advanced dining reservations. When I was there in December, I was able to select myself and my husband and get us into a boarding group using only my phone. It's actually best that you designate one person to be in charge of signing all of you up so that you don't end up in different groups or have any other technical errors from everyone in your party trying to join separately. When your boarding group is called you will have two hours to get to the entrance of the attraction, which is plenty of time to finish up any FastPass+ selections or dining reservations that you have around the same time.

I hope this answers your question, Ron, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
