Hello, fellow Disney fan! Thanks for bringing your vacation planning question to planDisney! Your magical vacation to the
Walt Disney World Resort is less than a month away! I’m sure you’ve got your “countdown to Disney” started!
Your little Mouseketeer must be so excited about his visit to Mickey and Minnie’s Florida home! Guests ages 3 and older need a valid theme park ticket to enter any of the Disney Parks. Guests 2 and younger do not need an admission ticket (even if they look really, really tall)! If you’re concerned about being questioned about your son’s age, due to his height, you can take a picture of his birth certificate using your phone. If you need to show proof of his age, you can use the photo. That being said, I’ve never observed a Cast Member ask a Guest the age of a child and don’t think it will be necessary to show the photo. But if it gives you some “peace of mind” to have the photo of the birth certificate, you will have it easily accessible on your phone.
One PRO TIP I can offer to
help your little one have a great visit is to plan for some “downtime” at the resort hotel! The Disney Parks are amazing, but little ones (and parents, too) need a break! Plan to spend some time splashing around in the resort pool or even take a midday break or nap back at the hotel! My kids loved the resort time when they were little and they still do as teenagers!
Dreams do come true!
