is there complimentary water in hotel rooms?

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Helen!

This is a great question to ask as you are planning your visit to Walt Disney World!

Some WDW Resort hotels may offer complimentary water in-room, however, this varies tremendously from resort to resort. On a recent stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort & Spa, a complimentary water bottle was placed in my room, but that is not usually the case.

When staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I often fill up a water bottle at a resort water fountain. You'll find these throughout both WDW Resort hotels as well as throughout the parks; resort and park maps note their locations, for your convenience, too.

In addition, guests may ask a Cast Member for a cup of water at any Quick-Serve dining location, as well as a glass of water at any Table-Service dining location. Bottled water is available for purchase throughout Walt Disney World Resort, too, should you wish to do so.

Keep in mind that guests who have a Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug, which can be purchased for the length of your stay, but is also included in a Disney Dining Plan, will notice a cold water dispenser among the dispensers of iced tea, soft drinks and sports drinks. Fill up your mug with ice and top it off with some ice-cold water, and you are set for the day.

Send more questions as you plan your stay, Helen; we love to help!
