I have complimentary tickets for Disneyland Ca. Do I need to make reservations? and how?

    Hiya, Anees!

Yeehaw! Complimentary tickets to the Disneyland Resort certainly must mean you are in for a rootin', tootin' time.

I’m glad you asked this question because this is important. At this time, each Guest of the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both valid theme park admission and a theme park reservation to visit Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. You’ve got the first requirement already: theme park tickets. So let’s dig into the details for booking your park reservation.

To help you get set up, I recommend downloading the Disneyland mobile app to your mobile phone. On the app’s ☰ feature menu, you will find the Tickets and Passes tile. When you open that up, you should see a button labeled “Link Tickets & Passes” at the top of the screen. If it’s not there, tap the ‘+’ button in the top-right corner. Use your device’s camera to scan the ticket barcodes or manually type in the ticket IDs.

Once all of your tickets are linked to your account, tap the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the screen then select “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, use the “Make or Modify Park Reservations” button to open the "My Theme Park Reservations" web page in your device’s browser. You can also visit that link from another device or computer. From there, when you use the “Book Theme Park Reservation” link, you can book a park reservation using your linked tickets! After you choose and confirm an available park reservation, you will see your selections show up on the Future Plans screen of the mobile app. If you have any difficulty booking your park reservations, you may reach out to a Cast Member with the Tickets phone line.

Tony’s Tip: Once your theme park tickets are linked to your account, you may then use the Disneyland mobile app as your theme park admission. Use the Tickets and Passes screen of the app to display all of your tickets to gain entrance to the parks as well as to attraction Lightning Lane entrances if using the optional Disney Genie+ service or purchasing individual Lightning Lane return times. Of course, you may also choose to use a physical ticket card if you have one. The choice is yours. You can even opt to link a MagicBand+ to your account and associate it with a park ticket if you choose.

I hope you have a magical time, Anees!
