Hi there, Jennifer!
Guests may reach out to a Cast Member on the
Tickets phone line to request name changes for wholly-unused theme park tickets. Because the name linked to a
theme park ticket is primarily for convenience in keeping multiple tickets organized in the
Disneyland mobile app, it is also OK to keep the name as-is. As long as you are OK with the name mismatch in the app, you shouldn’t have any issues. Rather than verifying a ticket holder with a driver's license or another form of ID, Cast Members check the user of a ticket against a photo taken when the ticket is first activated and used at a park entrance.
Tony’s Tip: You will also be given a printed ticket card when your ticket is first activated. You may write the name of the Guest using the ticket on that card. Verifying actual users of tickets based on the ticket ID numbers printed on the ticket cards and displayed on the
Disneyland mobile app can come in handy if members of your party choose to split up when
park hopping or redeeming
Lightning Lane return times.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jennifer!
