Hello I have a complimentary ticket from before COVID that has had the date extended to end of 2021. Do I still need a reservation? My ticket says nothing about reservations. My vacation is already planned and just found out the date I want to go is full.

Hi there, Bill! How great to have a complimentary ticket to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Since the Disneyland Resort began its phased reopening earlier this year, there were several new processes put in place to ensure the safety and wellness of Guests and Cast Members. One of those new processes is the theme park reservation system which is used to monitor and control capacity. All Guests age 3 and older must have a valid theme park ticket as well as a theme park reservation in order to visit the parks. You may want to check the theme park reservation availability calendar again as I noticed more availability was recently added.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the type of ticket you have may affect what day you can visit the parks. Certain one-day tickets from 2020 were designated as Peak, Regular, or Value tickets and could only be used on certain days. If it is unclear what tier your complimentary ticket belongs to, please give Ticket Services a call at (714) 781-4636. They should be able to look up your ticket ID number and let you know if there are any blockout days associated with your ticket.

I hope this helps! Have a great day!
