Hello. I have complimentary Disney tickets with no expiration date. My issue is, I am unable to link the tickets to my app because there is no barcode. How can I ensure to secure my reservation date as we are travelling from afar. Please advise. Thank you.

    Hi there Yolanda!

Thank you so much for submitting your question and welcome to planDisney! I always love seeing questions from fellow Canadians like me, I grew up in Quebec which makes us province neighbours! I also see your trip is coming soon! You must be so excited to go back to the magic and to leave the cold for Florida's warm weather, I know that was always one of my favourite parts. There's nothing better than a trip to Walt Disney World Resort to get a quick break from the blistering cold in January.

As for your tickets, it is important to make sure they are linked to your My Disney Experience account for you to make theme park reservations, which are currently required for theme park admission. First, if they are physical tickets, I would make sure to double-check on each side of the ticket if you are able to see a barcode or identification number. If there is, you should be able to link the ticket into your My Disney Experience account by going into your account and clicking on "Membership and Passes." There, you will be able to pick the type of ticket you have and enter the barcode.

Second, if the tickets do not have a barcode on either side, it is recommended that you either call Guest Services or visit Guest Relations locations, which can be found at the Main Entrance of any of the theme parks. Since you mentioned you want to make sure you can make your park reservations in time, I would recommend contacting a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Guest Relations Cast Members are always so helpful and truly are real-life fairy godparents! They will help you link those tickets and make park reservations as Disney honours old tickets and tickets with no expiration dates. Also, it seems like all four parks are still available for your arrival date and the following weeks, so I would not worry too much about availability.

I hope this was helpful and don't hesitate to send over any other questions you might have! I am sending all the pixie dust your way and wish you the nicest, sunniest, bluest skies on your vacation.
