We are completely surprising our 3 (12DD, 9DD, and &DS) children with WDW for the first time in 67 days. With the counter service meals on the dining plan do my 3 and 9 year olds have to order from a childrens menu or can they order anything on the menu

    Hi, Shannon!

Your Disney Dining Plan selection will allow your three-year-old and nine-year-old to order only from the children's menu. From the official site:

"Children ages 3-9 must order from a Children's Menu where available. Plan must be purchased for entire length of stay and for the entire party (ages 3+). Meals are non-transferable between party members and expire at midnight on day of check-out."

Just about all of the children’s menus offer healthy options in addition to "kid favorites" like pizza and macaroni and cheese.

The Disney Dining Plan is unavailable for those under the age of three, but these little ones may share from an adult plate at no charge; a grownup can also order an entree for the little one a la carte. When this occurs, the price of the meal will be added to the bill.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
