    I just completed the WDW half marathon. The MOUSE has bitten & I want to earn all the medals! My family is considering becoming members of the Disney Vacation Club. Has anyone ever had problems with Disney's transportation to races from DVC villas?

    Hi Tonya!

    Yay!  The MOUSE bites pretty hard at the runDisney events!  It's such a fun way to see and enjoy the Disney Parks that we already know and love!

    For the villas, each race is different.  There are host resorts for each race and they vary by race weekend.  (other than marathon weekend when ALL resorts are host resorts)  Generally, there is at least one vacation club resort included as a host for every race.  You should have no trouble finding a place to stay and use your points during races.  My favorites (Beach Club Villas) are almost always host resorts!
