Hi, I just completed our online check in, and I really want to get a time slot for my son to go to the oceaneer club, but for the life of me I cannot find anything about reserving a specific time. I called the Disney # but wait time was 189 minutes!

Ahoy there, Lindsay! Welcome aboard planDisney!

Wow - already checked-in and ready to set sail for adventure on your Disney Cruise Line vacation? Now that's what I call ahead of the game! Soon you and your crew will wake up on the bounding main, ready to greet the morning (or afternoon - you're on vacation after all!) with the sense of WONDER that is usually found only in a DREAM. MAGIC is on the horizon and I WISH my family was joining you, but for now, that remains a FANTASY.

(You see what I did there? Might be a new record for the number of Disney Cruise Line ships' names crammed into two sentences...)

Joking aside, you are officially in "planDrew-Approved" status with how tight of a ship you're running, Lindsay! Even better, is I have some good news: the reason you haven't been able to find any information about Disney's Oceaneer Club reservation slots is they are no longer required!

As of the most recent update to the Know Before You Go information, Disney's Oceaneer Club,
Oceaneer Lab, Edge, and Vibe are open without the need for reservations! That means whenever your little sailor would like to check out what's going on in the "fun zone" as I like to call it, you can set a course for Deck 5 and make it so! These spaces are so incredible, I'm glad your son will be able to take full advantage! Oh, and there are special times when your entire crew will be able to check them out, so be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for Open Houses. Even before my wife and I had our son, we would take a quick look and get jealous about all the fun the kids get to have!

And a bonus silly thing not to miss - the special machines for washing your hands at the kids club are so cool - we like to call them the "Hand Car Wash," so be sure to check it out! haha.

Well, I'm officially jealous of the amazing time you, your son, your crew, and all your fellow guests are going to have, Lindsay! Thank you so much for your question! If you have any others as you finish planning your Disney Cruise Line vacation, you know where to find me at planDisney - just sail my way any time!

Here's hoping for fair winds, following seas, and a shipload of fun!
