I am a complete newbie. Never been. I am bring my b/g twins age-4- to Disney right after Christmas and leaving right after new years. Best hotel for 4 year olds? I am trying to be budget wise, but want a magical time

    Hi Judy,

You must be so excited to take your twins for their first visit to Walt Disney World.  They are at the perfect age to embrace the magic of a Disney vacation!

I am going to recommend that you give Disney's Wilderness Lodge a close look as you are trying to decide which Disney resort is best for your family.  This resort is my favorite in the whole world. The theming of this resort is extraordinary and activities for kids are abundant.  (I bet your kids would love the rubber duck races at Silver Creek Springs Pool.  Kids like watching Fire Rock Geyser erupt too).  This is where my family stayed when we took our son for his first trip to Walt Disney World when he was five.  It is the least expensive of the deluxe Disney resorts but it is still only a quick four-minute complimentary bus ride from the Magic Kingdom.  Because of the age of your preschool children, you're going to want easy access to the Magic Kingdom.

In order to save money while staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, ask for a standard room and consider purchasing the Disney dining plan.  This is a very cost-effective way to feed a family while at Walt Disney World.

Let us know if you have any additional questions with which we can assist you.  Have fun planning your magical Disney adventure!
