    Hi, I have a comped ticket and need to update a date to a day early. Is there a way to update that?

    Hey there Lauren and welcome to planDisney.

    Complimentary tickets are one of the best Disney gifts we have ever received. It is not just the savings but the fact that we will be able to explore and live vicariously in the "Place Where Dreams Come True."

    Complimentary Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets should have a use window that is typically longer than a standard ticket so you should be able to change the date. You would do this by canceling your Theme Park Reservation for that ticket and choosing a new date with the same ticket. This is done through your My Disney Experience account online or the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

    Please note, there are different types of complimentary tickets so some will have more restrictions than others. Also, it will have a hard expiration date that should be displayed on the ticket or in the ticket graphic in your My Disney Experience account. If you are unable to find the date, change your Theme Park Reservation, or want more information about your specific ticket, contact Existing Tickets to chat with a Cast Member.
