Hi there, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question. I love all aspects of planning, especially if it's a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. So let's get started with your question.
When booking a
Disneyland Vacation Package, the same type of ticket must be used/purchased for all guests in your party. Unfortunately, this means you won't be able to use your complimentary tickets when purchasing a vacation package. You can, however, book a room-only stay at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel and then
purchase theme park tickets separately for those who need them while you use your complimentary park tickets. I know this is probably not the answer you were looking for, however I hope this gives you options to consider as you plan your upcoming visit.
I see that you're traveling from quite a distance. If this happens to be your first visit to the Disneyland Resort, hooray! Be sure to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in
Disneyland or Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in
Disney California Adventure Park and ask a Cast Member for a complimentary "1st Visit" button to commemorate your trip. There will be many fun and exciting things happening at the resort during your stay such as the
Disney100 Celebration and the
Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure Park. I highly recommend checking out the Food & Wine Festival - it's one of my favorites!
Melissa, I hope this has been helpful. If you have other questions or would like any tips or recommendations for your upcoming visit, please come back and see us here at planDisney - even feel free to
ask me directly.
Happy planning,
Michelle
