Hi Kristy, welcome to planDisney!
There's a lot to consider when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
PlanDisney's Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Checklist will help keep you on track, and it sounds like you're working on finalizing steps 3-5 (Decide on Dates & Length of Stay, Choose Your Resort, Purchase Theme Park Tickets & Make Reservations). Just keep planning!
There is an offer comparison tool built into the Walt Disney World Resort booking site, which I find extremely helpful. Start by signing into your
My Disney Experience account and selecting the
Cart icon from the top menu of disneyworld.disney.go.com. Next, click "Create and compare up to 3 vacation offers." From there you can play around with room and package options. The tool will even let you check availability for one of the summer's hottest deals, a
room-only discount at select Disney Resort Hotels. You can click "Duplicate this offer" if you want to compare the bottom line between similar offers.
Right now, for example, I have three offers for a stay at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in my cart. I can practically taste the beignets from nearby
Scat Cat's Club - Café! Offer 1 includes the room-only discount, Offer 2 includes the room-only discount with 5-day tickets (1 park per ticket), and Offer 3 includes the room-only discount with 5-day tickets with the
Park Hopper Option, and
Memory Maker. Additional
theme park reservations are required.
If you have questions about any of the offers in your cart, you can reach out to a helpful Cast Member and reference the Cart ID number found in your shopping cart after you click "Select Offer" at the bottom of the chart. The Cart ID number will be underneath the green "Check Out" button along with a phone number for questions.
For your summer visit, I'll also mention the incredible
4-day, 4-park Magic Ticket offer. Taking advantage of this offer requires a separate, ticket-only purchase that can be combined with a resort-only reservation for tremendous savings. This particular kind of ticket does not require separate theme park reservations, which is an additional bonus.
If you have any other questions about finding a vacation offer that fits like a glass slipper, Kristy,
you know where to find me!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
