    Hi! My company offers recognition points that I can use to buy Disney Giftcards. Is it true that giftcards never expire? I'm not planning a Disney trip anytime soon, but I'd like to buy one for the future -and before my points expire. Thanks!

    Congratulations on your professional recognition! And how fantastic is it that you can redeem your points for Disney Gift Cards? You are correct; Disney Gift Cards do not expire. You can use them for a vacation tomorrow or five years from now! I recommend keeping them somewhere secure and registering them on the Disney Gift Card website. That way, you can add future cards and consolidate funds (up to $1000 per gift card).

    I hope this is helpful, Magali. Before I go, I'll share one final quick tip for using Disney Gift Cards. I like typing card numbers into the Notes app on my mobile device. That way, when I do Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering or Merchandise Mobile Check Out, I don't have to search for the card and type in the numbers each time. Instead, I copy and paste the gift card numbers from the Notes app into the final payment screen on the My Disney Experience mobile app.
