Hello! We’re coming in, in the morning, can we park our car before we can get in our room and head to a park??? It would be before check in time.

    Hi Sadie! Welcome to planDisney!

Before you know it, you'll be hopping in your car to head off on your adventure to Walt Disney World Resort. How excited are you?! I think we are kindred spirits, as I'm always looking to get started on the fun and hit the parks as early as possible, so I love the idea of arriving early to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to hit the ground running. I mean, why miss even a moment of the magic?

I am delighted to share that you can absolutely park at your Disney Resort hotel on the morning of your arrival date, even if it is before the scheduled check-in time. Standard overnight self-parking is available for Guests of the hotel, though a fee per night which will be charged to your room account at the end of your stay. This fee varies based on which Disney Resort hotel you will be staying out, so be sure to check the parking information page for your hotel's parking fee.

Sadie, I would also recommend checking your bags in with the Bell Services desk upon your arrival. They will safely store your belongings until you arrive back at your hotel and are ready to head up to your room. This way, you don't have to worry about schlepping back to your car to grab your bags after a long day in the park. Instead, you can just stop by Bell Services, pick up your bags, and you are off to check out your fabulous hotel room! Another great time-saver is the Direct-To-Room Service available to you as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest. This awesome service allows you to check in to your hotel online and receive real-time updates on the status of your room. Then, once your room is ready, you'll receive an alert through your My Disney Experience app with your room number and an option to unlock your door right from your phone or MagicBand. How cool is that? It's just another one of the fabulous benefits of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.

I do hope this answer was helpful to you, Sadie! Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions you may have.

    Until next time,
