We are coming with our 3 yr. old in October. Do you recommend the Mickey's not so scary halloween party as it seems awfully high priced can we still participate with our hopper passes or is there an additional fee? do parents need a ticket as well?

    Hi Christy!

I absolutely recommend the Halloween party! These special ticket parties are a lot of fun and offer a different experience than what you usually have at the Magic Kingdom. There is a special parade and fireworks show, dance parties with the characters, opportunities to meet and greet with characters dressed in their costumes and of course trick or treating for candy!

You will need to purchase tickets for everyone in your party to attend the party. It does require a ticket separate from your park admission. However, this ticket will grant you admission to the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 even though the party starts at 7:00. When we go to the parties, I usually don't use one of our park tickets that day. We usually sleep in a little, have a late breakfast and then relax by the pool at our resort or head to Downtown Disney for a little while.

I think that going to the party is something to do at least once. It might not be something that you would want to do every year, but may be something to try once for the experience.

I hope this helps! No matter what you decide I hope you have a great vacation!
