Hey, Nikki! Welcome to planDisney.
It's my pleasure to help you plan your great, big, beautiful tomorrow. Mickey and Minnie can't wait for you and your family to arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I bet you're already counting down the days.
Rider Switch is one of my must-use services at Walt Disney World Resort. As a Disney dad with two little Mouseketeers, I know firsthand that not every attraction is ideal for my kids. That’s why my wife and I happily take advantage of Rider Switch whenever we want to enjoy the more thrilling experiences, like
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Single Rider lines are another convenient option for parents. These lines let Guests who are comfortable riding solo fill empty seats on attractions. They often move quicker than regular standby queues and can be a practically perfect way to save time.
You've asked a great question, Nikki. Rider Switch and single rider lines are two separate options, so you can’t use Rider Switch with single rider lines. Rider Switch is designed to work with the regular standby queue or Lightning Lane, not the single rider line. If you’re planning to use Rider Switch, you’ll need to stick with the standby or Lightning Lane options.
I hope that's clarifying and helpful, Nikki. If you have any more questions in the build-up to your trip, you know where to find us!
TTFN (ta-ta for now!),
Mike
