We are coming with our 7 year old son the first week in April, any sugguestions to make it more memorable for him?

    Hi there, Melanie!

What an incredible time he is going to have! Seven is such a fun age for Walt Disney World.

Make sure to get a First Visit button for every member of your traveling party. You can get these buttons from the Cast Member at your Resort at the time you check in.

The Dream Makers at Disney Florist are ready to help create fabulous set pieces to make your Resort room come alive. Visit them online or call (407) WDW-GIFT to get started.

You might also want to consider making dining reservations at restaurants that feature his favorite characters: from the Fabulous Five at Chef Mickey's to Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana, you're sure to find a meal that will satisfy his appetite and bring even more smiles. Reservations can be made 180 days in advance of your check-in date either online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

Consider booking the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage! Your pirate host will take you out onto Bay Lake for a gorgeous view of the night's Wishes fireworks show. The experience features snacks, meet-and-greets, and Disney surprises! Make your reservations by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.

You're going to have so much fun exploring the Parks and the Resort that it's hard to make recommendations for what else you can add! I'll throw out a couple of ideas, though; if you'd like to drop me a line with a few details about characters he likes, I'd be happy to point you in some specific directions.

    Have an incredible time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
