Hi Kerie!
Naps are crucial for 1-year olds! I am so glad you brought this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The good news is that you will be able to accommodate her nap time and have a magical time in the parks. It sounds like your daughter is still taking a morning and an afternoon nap. I recommend that you make your
Fast Pass+ reservations and other park plans for early morning and/or late afternoon. For example, on one day, you could do a
Character Meal before the park opens and follow that meal with visits to two attractions, then head back to the resort for a mid-morning nap. Have lunch and enjoy the pool at the resort after the morning nap. Following pool and lunch time, you could head back to the room for an afternoon nap. Once she wakes up refreshed, you make your way back to the park, enjoy dinner in the park, and perhaps do one or two more attractions. On another day, you could do breakfast at the resort, head to the pool, then head back for a mid-morning nap. Once she wakes up, you could enjoy another activity at the resort, eat lunch at the resort, and go back for a nap in the room. After her afternoon nap, you could head to the park to enjoy attractions and dinner. So you can try visiting the park early, heading back to the resort, and then coming back to the park in the late afternoon, or just doing the parks in the afternoon and evening. It really depends on her precise sleep schedule. Since traveling back and forth to the resort can take time, don't forget about the
Baby Care Centers in the parks. They can provide a quiet place to have your daughter take a nap.
Happy Planning!
