We are coming without children as our youngest is in college. What do you suggest we do to get the most out of our trip?

    Hi Roger,

Traveling to Walt Disney World without children does not mean that there is no chance for fun! There are many things that are available to add some extra magic to an all adult vacation! Here are some of my suggestions:

    • A behind the scenes tour such as Keys to Kingdom or Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom. Many of these tours have an age minimum of 12-16 years old, so many appeal to adults as a way to enjoy some magic without kids in tow! For more information or to book a tour, call (407) WDW-TOUR (939-8687).
    • Enjoy one or more of the many bars or lounges available all over the property. Enjoy the extensive South African wine list at Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar located next to Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. La Cava Del Tequila has over 70 tequilas on the menu as well as scrumptious tapas and some really unique margaritas. It is located in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot and offers a secluded little retreat from the hustle and bustle of Epcot. Lastly, Jellyrolls is a dueling piano bar at Disney's BoardWalk and is a great way to spend an evening listening to some fantastic music.
    • Take advantage of some of Disney's signature dining at restaurants such as Artist Point in Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, or Monsieur Paul in the France Pavilion at Epcot. If you go to Monsieur Paul, I highly recommend the duck a l'orange. It is simply divine.
    • Finally, take a moment to relax! You are kid-free this trip. What better way to do that than maybe a couples massage at Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. For more information or to book a treatment call (407) WDW-SPAS (939-7727).

I hope I was able to offer some suggestions that appeal to you. Feel free to stop back by with more questions or to follow up on any of these recommendations. I'd love to help!

    Happy Planning!
