We are coming with Make a Wish, and its going to be 12 yr old birthday. How can we celebrate? Is there a way to let the staff know, etc. ? Thanks!

Hi Madi! I'm so glad that you're coming to Walt Disney World during your Make a Wish trip! The cast members are wonderful with helping everyone have an incredible vacation experience!

Birthdays are done "right" at Disney for sure! You'll want to start by visiting any Guest Services location inside the theme parks to request a "Happy Birthday!" celebration button for extra special recognition by the cast members and even other park guests! During quick-service and table-service dining, it's not uncommon for special treats to be presented to the guest of honor. Also, be sure to note that you're celebrating a child's 12th birthday in your travel party on any table-service meal reservations!

You might also wish to peruse the birthday options with the Disney Florist online or by calling 407-WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438) for items that can be delivered to a variety of Walt Disney World property locations.

Lastly, a specialty custom cake would surely put the icing on your celebration and can be ordered by calling (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance. Delivery is available at most table-service restaurants and will result in plenty of fanfare and attention from other diners!

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Make a Wish Disney vacation be filled with a lifetime of precious memories!
