Hi Dale!
Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are a wonderful way to experience the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks for Guests who need mobility assistance. I'm happy to hear you've already taken care of renting one for your wife to use on your vacation.
While there are no "dedicated" ECV charging stations within the parks, you shouldn't have any trouble find a spot to recharge the scooter if needed. I've found that the best time and place to charge is in a Table Service dining location. As you refuel your bodies with a yummy meal, you can recharge your scooter as well! Simply ask a Cast Member for the best location for you to plug in - they should be helpful and familiar with this request. Make sure to keep your charger and extension cords with you in your park bag during the day. When out and about in the parks, Cast Members can assist you in finding a power outlet if needed. A nice, shady place to recharge in Magic Kingdom Park is in the area across from the "Tangled bathrooms" in Fantasyland (right past the entrance to It's A Small World).
Most ECVs should last all day with a full night of recharging. A good way to conserve battery power throughout the day is to turn off the scooter when waiting in any lines or stopped for short periods of time to watch a show/parade/etc. For your safety, always remember to take your key with you when enjoying an attraction or restaurant, and don't leave valuables unattended in your ECV.
I hope this helps! Have a magical day, and I hope you have an awesome Walt Disney World vacation! - Diane W.
