Were coming in 3 weeks and planning on eating Breakfast and Dinner at the Villa. How much should I plan per day for lunch? 2 adults and 2 kids ages 9 and 8

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ali! We are so happy to hear from you once again!

You must be so excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit! With just a couple of weeks to go you must be all set with dining reservations, FastPass+ selections and other details. Don’t forget to download the My Disney Experience mobile app to have all details of your visit on the palm of your hand!

Budgeting for dining depends on your family preferences. Do you enjoy table-service locations or do you prefer quick-service meals? My family prefers to have lunch at table-service restaurants because it gives them a chance to rest and escape the midday sun for at least an hour. However, many quick-service locations offer indoor and air-conditioned seating so they have recently become great options for us. You also need to consider portions. In some cases I like to order an appetizer instead of an entrée, but my daughter, for example, never skips dessert.

However, for a family like yours I would budget around $70.00 to $80.00 for quick-service meals and around $110.00 to $130.00 for table-service meals. Please note that it can be more expensive if you add alcoholic drinks and dessert, if you are visiting a character dining location, and you also want to plan for tips at table-service restaurants. My best planning advice here is to visit the website of the dining locations you would like to visit to check their menus and prices.

I hope this helps you while planning, Ali. Please stop by once again real soon!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
