Hi Liam, a warm welcome to planDisney!
For us visitors from the UK, accessing the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass works a bit differently, as you need to be on US soil to make the purchase.
I always remind Guests there is so much to do beyond the big thrills - from parades to shows - and some days in the Parks without Lightning Lanes are equally enjoyable. Our family finds such days easygoing and spontaneous, with a different kind of Disney magic. Perhaps you could use your first week to get your bearings and enjoy a relaxed introduction to the Parks. Indeed, Disney Resort hotel Guests have
extra hours in the Parks when the wait times are typically lower.
As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can book Lightning Lane access for the following two weeks of your stay, seven days in advance. So, you could make your first booking for seven days after your arrival date in the States. One of the great features of the updated
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is that you will know in advance which three rides are available and the timings of pre-bookable Lightning Lanes, giving you greater clarity before purchase.
Beyond those initial three pre-bookable Lightning Lanes, all Guests are in the same boat on the day; once you tap into your Lightning Lane, you can look to book another on
My Disney Experience.
The Lightning Lane Single Pass, available for the most popular rides (and not covered by the Lightning Lane Multi Pass) allows Guests to buy up to 2 single passes per day, subject to availability. Pricing for all options varies by day and ride choice but will be clearly displayed in the My Disney Experience App before you make any purchases.
Liam, I'm delighted you're enjoying an extended stay in the Disney bubble. I hope this gift of time allows you to soak up every moment and truly embrace the enchanting atmosphere.
Enjoy your magical adventure!
Louise
