Coming in 3 weeks. When doing online check-in what are your suggestions for Bay Tower as far as special requests. We will lave a lake view. Also getting ready to make Dec ressies what is your favorite DVC for the holidays?

    Hi Deborah,

My family and I love Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. It is so beautiful.

The views from Bay Lake Tower are mostly panoramic due to the large windows. Many people like to request a higher floor so that they can get an even wider view. Also, many believe that the higher floors are quieter; another reason to request a high floor. You also might want to consider requesting a room close to the elevators, especially if you have strollers or other bulky items that you take with you. So you might request a room near the elevator and on an upper floor. That said - I have had a room all the way at the end of the hall on the fifth floor (considered by many to be a lower floor since there are sixteen floors total), and we had a great view, it was quiet, and the hallways really aren't too long!

Walt Disney World for the holidays is such a lovely place to be. Many of the resorts are decorated just beautifully at that time of year. If I was going to stay at a Disney Vacation Club resort in December, I would choose Disney's BoardWalk Villas or The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I must admit that Disney's BoardWalk Villas is my home resort, so it has a special place in my heart. When it is all decked out for the holidays with beautiful greenery and lights, it's all that much more magical to me. The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge just match beautifully with holiday decorations. The theme there is so rustic and pure that the holiday decorations look amazing. With both of these properties, they are adjacent to Walt Disney World Resort hotels, so you get the extra added benefit of seeing not only the Disney Vacation Club decorations, but also those of Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Deborah! Have a great time planning your trips, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
