Coming the week of Thanksgiving! Staying at Pop. We have a car but would like to also do Disney transportation. Can you give me an idea of how long I should give myself for travel time to parks and resorts...dont want to be late for dinners! Thanks!!!

What a fabulous time to visit!!! We always leave our room an hour and a half ahead of the reservation time.  The buses run every twenty minutes and potentially you should be able to get to your dinner location within 45 minutes of departing the resort.  There are many variables such as stops if your reservations are in Downtown Disney, than the bus makes stops at the water parks which will extend the bus ride.  If your reservations are at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue than you would be taking a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then taking a boat across the lagoon which also extends the time.  There are all sorts of creative ways to get from your resort to various dinner locations particularly those at other Walt Disney World Resorts.  If you are going to Chef Mickey's located in the Contemporary than you would take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and hop on the monorail.  There are also crowds to take in consideration and knowing the time of year I would recommend to leave no later than an hour and a half before.  I would to be safe leave about two hours before, but if your reservations are early like a breakfast, it may not be necessary to leave that early.  It's also fun to walk through the Christmas Decorations all through the parks and the Resorts.  If you are in the park already and the reservation is nearby than obviously two hours would be too conservative.
