    We are coming the week after Thanksgiving for 5 days and again in May. I wanted to stay at the Poly In December but thought that maybe we should wait until that May trip to really take advantage of the pool and stuff. What do you think?

    Kathy, December can be one of those months where you can find very warm days or very cold ones so it is hard to predict a year ahead. 

    The Polynesian would be an excellent choice for a May trip as you have a wonderful pool area as well as the breezes off the water on the beach.  With the tropical theme for the entire resort you will definitely feel like you have landed on an island getaway.

    You might want to consider one of the other great resorts such as the Wilderness Lodge for a December trip where the fire in the fireplace will be burning strong and the atmosphere of the holidays will be surrounding you.  It is also very close to the Magic Kingdom if that is a priority for your family.

    I wish I could help with the weather ahead...this last December my grandson loved his days in the pool at the Yacht and Beach but I have also been there when I thought I couldn't buy enough sweatshirts to last our trip!
