We are coming the week leading up to Easter 2018. Does MK usually open early since that is a busy time of year? I don't want to try to book a 8:05 a.m. dining reservation at CP if park is going to open at 8:00 a.m. Thanks!

    Hello Melanie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having an early breakfast at The Crystal Palace is the best way to start a magical day at Magic Kingdom Park in the company of Pooh and some of his pals.

The park usually opens at 9:00 a.m. and on some days morning Extra Magic Hours are offered to Disney Resort hotel Guests from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Park hours for the weeks around Easter of next year haven’t been released yet, so I suggest that you keep checking the calendar until the intended date for your dining reservation becomes available 120 days prior to your visit. You will then be able to check park hours and decide on the best time to book your reservation at The Crystal Palace.

Please note that there is a morning welcome ceremony at Magic Kingdom Park called Let the Magic Begin. The show is currently presented daily about 5 minutes prior to park opening, so Guests who wish to experience it are allowed to enter the park and make their way to Cinderella Castle one hour prior to park opening. Keep this in mind as you plan your visit and dining reservations at Magic Kingdom.

Speaking of dining reservations, have you already tried making them using the My Disney Experience mobile app? I find this to be the fastest and most convenient way to plan my culinary adventures at the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope this helps, Melanie. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
