We are coming the 1st week of February (our son wants to come for his bday). We are FL residents, when is the best time to book? Need a good deal on hotel and we are not partial to any one. The current FL resident offers do not go out that far. Thanks.

    Hi, Susan!

Disney loves its Florida residents, and often "spoils" us with great deals. Right now, the official Walt Disney World Web site is offering Florida residents a three-day Play Pass for $138.00 (ages 10+), and $127.00 (ages 3-9 years), a 40% savings over the base Magic Your Way ticket available to non-residents.

The Play Pass is a one-Park-per-day ticket, good for six months from the date of first use. There are no blackout dates, either.

As of right now, Disney has not announced any 2012 rates for Florida residents.

This does not mean that Disney will not be offering any special promotions; it is my understanding that discounts are offered very close to the dates during which the promotion/s will be in effect. You might want to make semi-regular calls to (407) W-DISNEY and check in with one of the Cast Members, who will have this information on a reasonably immediate basis after it has been announced.

Good luck -- persistence pays in pixie dust!!

    See you later, celebrator!
