We are coming to WDW 8/27-9/3,2015 and are wondering what we can expect for weather and crowds? We normally come in May but our daughter is in 7th grade and we don't her to be behind in her schoolwork,so we are going to try this time period-Thank you!

    Hi Jim,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help.

In terms of crowds, late August and early September are a good time to visit. Because so many places start school well before Labor Day (including most of our Florida school districts), the summer crowds usually begin to wane significantly in mid-August.

You won't get much break on the summer weather by then, however. Average temperatures likely will remain near 90 for a high and in the 70s for lows with significant humidity. We don't usually get a break from the summer heat and humidity until early to mid-October.

My family takes a break from our Disney visits during the height of the summer tourist season, and we are always eager to get back in late August. I'm certain your family will have a great time during that period. Please let us know if we can assist in any way as you make your plans.

    Enjoy!
