Hello, We are coming to WDW a week in the fall. We have the free dining. Does character dining cost more then a sit down credit?

    Hi there, Amanda!

Every restaurant on the dining plan is assessed a certain number of credits, or entitlements. Your plan will be deducted the proper number of entitlements based on the restaurant type that you choose.

This applies primarily to what Disney calls "signature dining". Signature dining restaurants are as follows, and require two Table Service credits:

    Artist Point
    Bistro de Paris
    California Grill
    Le Cellier Steakhouse
    Cítricos
    Flying Fish Cafe
    Fulton’s Crab House
    The Hollywood Brown Derby
    Jiko-The Cooking Place
    Narcoossee’s
    Wolfgang Puck: The Dining Room
    Yachtsman Steakhouse

Character dining experiences are not considered to be in this category, and, with one exception, are all one entitlement. Please note that Cinderella's Royal Table will require two entitlements.

The restaurants that will cost one entitlement are:

Breakfast Buffet at Cape May Cafe
Buffet with Character at The Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey’s Fun Time Buffet at Chef Mickey’s
Chip ‘N’ Dale’s Harvest Feast at The Garden Grill
Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine
Donald’s Dining Safari at Tusker House Restaurant
‘Ohana’s Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch
Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare

Remember to make your reservations up to 180 days in advance by going online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

    Have a great trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
