Stacie, your holiday season is sure to start off with some special memories with all that you have planned for your family. Of course, you have already thought of some of my favorite things to do there at Walt Disney World during this special time of year, but I have some other suggestions for you to ponder.
One of my absolute favorite things to do is the
Candlelight Processional at Epcot. I experienced it for the first time this past December and was so moved by the beautiful music and re-telling of the Christmas story that it is now a must-do each and every time I go back to Walt Disney World during the holiday season. This is a special event ticketed event that is not included in park admission, you would need to purchase separately. However, in my opinion, it is totally worth every penny.
Also in Epcot is
Holidays Around the World. As you make your way around World Showcase, you can enjoy entertaining storytelling, festive decorations and a taste of how many of these countries and cultures celebrates the holidays in their native land. You can meet La Befana in Italy, the lumberjack Nowell in Canada, or hear the story of the first Christmas tree in Germany. World Showcase is always a fun place to explore throughout the year, but especially during the holidays because of all the unique traditions you can learn about.
May your holidays be pixie-dusted with the holiday spirit.
