We are coming to WDW on Wednesday, Sept. 22 until the 29th. We have a 7 day Park Hopper ticket-in order to go to the Not so scary Halloween party, do we have to buy an additional ticket? How does that work if you are already there? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Janell,

How exciting that your trip is days away!  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is, indeed, a separate ticketed event that features a special parade (Mickey's Boo to You Parade), fireworks spectacular (Hall-O-Wishes), trick-or-treating in the park and character meet and greets.  On select nights during September and October, the Magic Kingdom closes early, and guests with special tickets are permitted entry and issued a bracelet that allows them to take part in the festivities.  Guests already in the parks can receive bracelets by having their tickets (to the Halloween Party) scanned at several locations in the park.

If you have a Park Hopper and prefer not to purchase tickets to the party, you could head over to one of the other theme parks open late for balance of your day.

    Have a magical trip!
