    Coming to WDW from 8.21-8.24. We'd like to do a character dining, but I dont want to book a reservation yet, bc I'd like to wait to see when the extra magic hours will be bc that will dictate our itinerary and have no PH option. suggestions?

    Hi Kimberly,

    You've may have already noticed, but the calendar for August is now up on the disneyworld.com.  I've located the extra magic hours for your stay, and you should be able to view them by clicking HERE.

    Since you don't have the park hopper option, I recommend avoiding the parks that have extra magic hours.  I think you'll find that the other parks will be less crowded on those days.

    Now for character dining!  A few of my families favorites are:

    • Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom.
    • Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort
    • Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom

    I've also heard from some of my fellow Disney Moms that Akershus in Norway has a great princess breakfast.
